Little Locals Clothing Co. creates thoughtfully designed bamboo and cotton clothing for babies and children. Our pieces are made for real life — sleep, play, and everything in between — with comfort, durability, and care at the core of every design.

The brand was created to support perinatal health and continues to invest in community care through ongoing partnerships, programs, and impact-driven initiatives.

How is Little Locals different from other baby brands?

How do you support perinatal health?

Supporting perinatal health is at the heart of why Little Locals exists.

Through our community work and partnerships, we’ve helped contribute to tangible impact — including over 4 million diapers and 110,000 bottles of formula distributed to families. As the brand grows, we continue to invest in perinatal care while building a sustainable business that supports long-term impact.

Do you donate 100% of your profits?

In our early days, Little Locals was fully founder-funded and able to donate 100% of proceeds. As we’ve grown and brought on investors to scale responsibly, we no longer commit to a fixed percentage.

Instead, we focus on ongoing, meaningful investment in perinatal health through financial contributions, partnerships, programming, and in-kind support — ensuring impact that is sustainable and long-lasting.

What fabric do you use?

Our core clothing line is made from a premium bamboo blend:
95% Bamboo Viscose / 5% Spandex

This fabric is:

  • Soft and gentle on sensitive skin

  • Naturally breathable and temperature-regulating

  • Stretchy and durable for everyday wear

How should I care for my Little Locals clothing?

We recommend:

  • Washing cold on a gentle cycle

  • Hanging to dry or tumble drying on low

Bamboo gets softer with every wash — and is made to be worn, loved, and lived in.

Are your clothes designed for sleep or play?

Both. Many of our pieces are designed as sleep + play — meaning they’re comfortable enough for rest and durable enough for movement, without needing outfit changes throughout the day.

What is the PALS Collection?

PALS stands for Pediatric Adaptive Lounge + Sleep.

The PALS Collection was created to support medically complex and disabled children with clothing that meets care needs without sacrificing comfort, dignity, or style. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to blend in with everyday clothing while offering discreet medical access.

Who are PALS pieces designed for?

PALS clothing is designed for children who may require:

  • Access to ports, feeding tubes, or medical devices

  • Sensory-friendly features

  • Clothing that supports both rest and movement

While designed with medical needs in mind, PALS pieces are made to look and feel like everyday clothing.

Where are your clothes made?

Our garments are thoughtfully produced in carefully selected factories in China that specialize in high-quality bamboo fabrics and small-batch manufacturing. We partner with facilities that align with our values around fair labour practices, safe working conditions, and quality craftsmanship.

These long-term partnerships allow us to create soft, durable pieces with consistent quality while producing responsibly and minimizing waste. Ethical production and transparency matter to us, and we’re committed to working with partners who share that commitment.

Why are some items made to order?

Some Little Locals and PALS pieces are made in small batches or to order to reduce waste and ensure thoughtful production.

Please allow 4–8 weeks for delivery on made-to-order items.
